The Open Championship

In 2010, The R&A - organisers of The Open Championship - asked Future Workshops for help in their mission to become the world's premier digital sporting event.

The Open Championship mobile App has delivered year-on-year growth, culminating in 700,000 downloads during the four day competition in 2015. Among other awards, the app received Best Use of Event Technology in the UK Events Awards 2014 and Best Technology for Fans at the Sports Technology Awards in 2015.

Time Out

City guide Time Out has a vast and loyal following, helping more than 22 million people across the globe to make the most out of their cities. From Mexico City to Melbourne, Barcelona to Beijing.

Time Out asked Future Workshops to provide a truly global proposition, one that would create a unified place for consumers to discover in real time what’s happening in the world’s most exciting cities.

Saudi Telecom asked Future Workshops to build world-class mobile apps for iOS, Android and Windows in order to improve the self-service experience for their customers. We delivered the initial project in just over 8 months, generating a swift return on investment and rave reviews.

Future Workshops created a programme aimed at upskiling the internal team at Saudi Telecom. This fostered a lasting relationship. The Entertainer

The Entertainer is a leading provider of incentives across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe. It offers vouchers for over 10 thousand global outlets to customers in 15 nations with over 1 million redemptions per year.

In early 2013 The Entertainer engaged Future Workshops to discover and execute a mobile strategy.

In the second year after launch, mobile purchases accounted for over 50% of the company's revenue, with its apps winning awards and achieving over 500,000 downloads.

Great Little Place

GLP, then a two-person startup, created a dedicated online following based on one mission: to get every person in every big city to complete this sentence: “I know this great little place...”

GLP came to us to turn this successful Facebook group and website into a Tinder for Places. The challenge was to create a competitive app in a saturated area in the market.

Smart Ticket

In a series of events for Samsung, Future Workshops helped showcase up-and-coming talent whilst using mobile technology to bring artists closer to their fans.

The Smart Ticket app was designed to allow artist interaction prior to the event, NFC ticketing and cashless payments during the show, and exclusive content the moment the event ended. The events were a resounding success, hailed as futuristic yet accessible to everyday music fans.

Charlotte Tilbury

When the world’s most sought-after makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury launched her inaugural makeup collection at Selfridges London, she wasn't content with launching a debut product line. Her venture took the opportunity to address familiar customer service problems at beauty counters, introducing a new shopping experience.

In a beauty industry first, Future Workshops partnered with Charlotte Tilbury to produce an iPad app aid for in-store beauty assistants. Face-print enables the assistant to select the facial features of the customer, record, and share Charlotte Tilbury products used during the consultation.
